Yoga for Fitness
I'm Val, I teach a modified Vinyasa flow based on the primary Ashtanga series, but also Trapeze and Gravity Yoga.
I love to help people build strength, balance and flexibility. You don't have to be fit to get started, the classes are designed to enable fast progress, whatever your starting point.
There is no dogma, chanting, spiritual reference or use of Sanskrit during classes. I welcome people of all beliefs.
I received my teaching diploma at Yoga Teachers College®️ which offers a rigorous training program, focused on teaching techniques, anatomy, sequencing as well as deepening yoga practice. I'm dedicated to bring my knowledge to the class and to ensure students are practicing in a safe, fun & effective way.

I always feel good after taking this class. Val is a good instructor who cares about her students individually. She explains the poses and encourages her students to progress at their own pace.
Equally challenging and relaxing, it helps you test your strength but also stretch out and help you de-stress. Val is a fantastic instructor who is very friendly and very supportive, taking the class at a pace everyone is comfortable. As someone who never thought much of Yoga, it has been a great new experience for me.

YOGABODY® VINYASA FLOW
This practice based on classic vinyasa is designed to balance and tone the entire body, increase flexibility, endurance and strength. All postures are connected with breathing, and students perform a sequence of smooth movements composed of 50 postures.
This flow is based on the YOGABODY® vinyasa flow (Standing and Finishing series) but includes themes, tips and pose variations to help build strength. It is accessible to anyone, new to yoga or not. Options will be provided to suit all levels so you can challenge yourself, but safely.
BALANCE AND BREATHE
This flow is based on the YOGABODY® vinyasa flow (Standing and Finishing series) but with a theme on balance and core strengthening. This is perfect for students looking to progress poses such as crow variations or shoulder stands. All levels welcome. Get ready to hold and breathe!
